The ear is associated with the spiral, the whorled shell and the sun, and the shell, in turn, is a symbol of the vulva. Thus, there is a close connection between the ear and birth itself. It has long been considered the seat of memory, receptivity, inquisitiveness and awakening.

The Cyclamen flower that is not one that symbolizes happiness, so you need to understand that if you plan on giving it to anyone. The cyclamen is poisonous and it actually has a meaning that relates to death and the fact that all good things will eventually end, so this is a flower that you may use at a funeral to represent departure.
